Christmas is coming!

This time last year the snow was falling fast, schools were closed throughout the country and I had a huge stockpile of gingerbread men ingredients. This year the snow has mostly held back, but as I currently speak snow is falling on the Peak District.

In the final Cookery Class of the term we are making Christmas Pudding truffles based on this recipe and last week in the last evening class of the term the ladies did a sterling job of decorating their Christmas cakes. For some this was their first time at decorating cakes. You can also find me at Betty’s Farm Shop over the next few weeks with a stall at their craft fairs.
